"Preserving yesterday with today's Technology."
The “Sonny Boy” Williamson Memorial Bed and Breakfast is Glendora ‘s tribute to its own native son and legendary blues harmonica player. This Bed and Breakfast, as well as the Blues & Cyber Café contain memorabilia associated with the life and music of this internationally acclaimed Blues music master.

Designed with an “At Home” atmosphere and equipped with WiFi connectivity, tourists & visitors can bring their laptops or use the café’s desktop terminals to access a Delta Blues regional database with music and sound clip files for listeners. Special prepared meals feature catfish, barbecue, and fresh vegetables from Gardens of Glendora.

Live weekend performances are also scheduled to highlight the talent of the region’s local Blues artists.

The Bed and Breakfast has been cleverly filled with rooms sponsored by associates and friends of “Sonny Boy” and a Congressional suite in honor of Mississippi’s own Congressman (and Chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security) Benny G. Thompson. Each room also contains genuine memorabilia from its respective musical sponsor which includes a list of greats such as: Bobby Rush, B.B. King, Robert Lockwood, Robert Johnson and of course “Sonny Boy” Himself.

Sonny Boy’s Bed and Breakfast is also one of the central features of Glendora ‘s new cottage industry development initiative – one that promotes regional cultural heritage & tourism enhanced by the latest advances in broadband communications technology. It’s a new stop on the Emmett Till Memorial Highway you do not want to miss!

Post Cards and Posters are also on sale for the Bed & Breakfast or the Emmett Till Historic Intrepid Center (ETHIC) .
